Hi there to anyone taking the trouble to check this out and thanks for looking in.

First of all and from my point of view, this is an exercise in keeping ‘the little grey cells’ active. But it will allow me to expand a little on the sort of comment that you might reasonably expect to find on FaceBook or Twitter and will allow those who are interested enough the option of following it up. Twitter in particular makes a virtue out of brevity and limits the characters that may be used. For that reason a link to a blog is becoming almost standard practice on Twitter.

My subject matter will reflect my personal interests over the years.  And while I plead no special knowledge on all subjects that I may write about (after all a blog by its nature is an indulgence), I will from time to time cover:  rugby, architecture and the environment, all matters photographic, and the occasional book review, and political rant. All of course in the very best of taste.  And to demonstrate that, from time to time there may even be a brief, but almost certainly colourful musical accompaniment.

So there you go, Blog Number one. Can’t wait to start stirring, I mean started!
